Artwork Submission

ARTWORK STANDARDS:

• Artwork is always a separate line item on orders.
• Not all artwork will work appropriately with different imprint methods or substrates. For example, screen printing uses different artwork parameters than embroidery, engraving, and sublimation. Also, screen printing on t-shirts has different parameters than screen printing on towels. Artwork charges may apply to alter the existing artwork to work with different imprint methods.
• Certain factors may alter the following pricing due to the detail of the design. The customer will be quoted artwork charges prior to any work processed.
• If artwork is processed and the order is not placed, an invoice will be charged to the customer’s account.

ACCEPTABLE ARTWORK:

• Each imprint method has specific artwork requirements. Most of our processes require vector artwork which can be color separated. Imprint processes which can use raster artwork require high quality images.
• 99.9% of artwork brought in is not acceptable with the methods of imprinting with which we use. Any conversions, touch up, or changes will constitute artwork charges.

ELECTRONIC SUBMISSION OF ARTWORK:

• Submit artwork to art@winningedgeusa.com.
• Electronic submission is not always acceptable.
• We will advise the customer if artwork is acceptable.
• All artwork submitted electronically will be charged the handling fee stated above in order to properly convert to our systems.
• Artwork must meet the following requirements:
• Editable EPS images for vectorized artwork
• All photographs will have artwork charges
• Convert all text to paths/outlines
• Types of media accepted:
• 3.5” floppy disk
• 100mb zip disk
• CD
• Email attachment
• Winning Edge operates on the MacIntosh platform. Freehand, Illustrator, and Corel are used for vector artwork. Photoshop is used for raster (bitmap) artwork. It is best if artwork can be saved or exported in one of these respective formats.
• All emailed artwork should be followed with a fax confirmation to insure complete receipt of electronic artwork.

RETENTION OF ARTWORK:

Artwork is kept on file as long as possible. But, due to the continuously changing technologies of custom imprinting, artwork can become inadequate. Winning Edge will assume the artwork costs to redo any repeat orders placed within two years. Artwork charges may apply to repeat orders outside of two years.

SELLERS PREROGATIVE:

Winning Edge may refuse at any time to print any copy, photograph, or illustration of any kind that in the sole judgment of Winning Edge is an invasion of privacy, degrading, unlawful, profane, obscene, pornographic, tends to ridicule or embarrass, or is in bad taste.
