Screen Printing

The technique of using special purpose inks to imprint an image onto a substrate via a screen-stencil system. Winning Edge specializes in textile screen printing, ie. printing on clothing garments and other items made of cotton, polyester, and nylon. Legibility of imprint depends on image artwork and substrate weave. Pricing is by design size, imprint colors, item, and quantity.  Embroidery

The process of computerized stitching in order to imprint onto a garment or other textile item. Legibility of lettering depends on letter height, font style, and tightness of substrate weave. Lettering must be at least 1/4" in height to be legible - recommend 3/8". Standard, straight line stock typeset does not require a Design Setup charge. Design Setup is required when stock typeset and/or stock logos are specifically arranged and extra time must be taken to layout embroidery. Logos and special layouts must be digitized prior to embroidery application. This is a process which defines each stitch in order for the final embroidery design to resemble the original logo. Artwork fees will apply to prepare design for digitizing. Digitize fees are based on the number of stitches in the design and complexity. Minimum four pieces per design and color sequence. All pricing must be custom quoted.

 Heat Seal

The process of applying graphics to an item via heat press settings of time, temperature, and pressure. Computerized laser and CAD systems are used to produce the graphics for application.

• Detailed weeding - add 50%

• Coverage area is determined by drawing a rectangle which encompasses the entire design and then multiply the height and width.

 Sublimation

A dye process which uses computer generated artwork to produce imprinted items using time, temperature, and pressure. This process only works on light colored 100% polyester items. Sublimation is especially beneficial for full color graphics and small quantity production. All pricing must be custom quoted.
